We had a great weekend -- so great that there is no way I can write it in one post, so this is Our Weekend Part 1.
It all started when Hubby and I decided to go to the Alan Jackson concert at Red Rocks in Denver. The concert was on a Sunday night, so that led to the question of who was going to take care of Tracey Ann for at least that night, and possibly another night in addition.
That led to inviting Chris' parents out to Denver for the weekend to watch Tracey Ann for us... and our spending some time with them too, which was a bonus.
So, Hubby and I had a romantic weekend where we got to sleep in, and do our own thing... but our baby girl was in the same hotel, a few floors below us, having the time of her life with her grandparents, who she does not get to see very often. We also got to pick and choose on which outings we wanted to tag along.
So... we tagged along to the aquarium. And, not that this is a review of the Denver Aquarium, but my two cents -- it was pretty cool, but definitely not worth the price, and definitely not of very much interest to a one-year-old. Tracey Ann thought the fish were cool -- but once she had seen one fish, she was kind of bored with the rest.
