He is not here!
1After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week,a Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb.
2Suddenly there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, rolled away the stone, and sat on it. 3His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. 4The guards trembled in fear of him and became like dead men.
5But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6He is not here; He has risen, just as He said! Come, see the place where He lay.b 7Then go quickly and tell His disciples, ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see Him.’ See, I have told you.”
8So they hurried away from the tomb in fear and great joy, and ran to tell His disciples. 9Suddenlyc Jesus met them and said, “Greetings!” They came to Him, grasped His feet, and worshiped Him. 10“Do not be afraid,” said Jesus. “Go and tell My brothers to go to Galilee. There they will see Me.”

The Book of Common Prayer
We have a big week here and by the end of the week, Lord willing, we will be unpacking and fully residing in our new home, in our new town.
As I was thinking about what I could share this week, I kept thinking of the book of common prayer. This is not something I was exposed to as a child because I was not raised in the Episcopal church, but I have heard a few excerpts from this book from a dear friend from graduate prayer whose father is an Episcopalian Priest, but also from the Mitford books by Jan Karon, in which, the main character, Father Tim will frequently reference The Book of Common Prayer.
I love the reverent language, and I love that there are so many prayers for so many unique situations.
All that said, I did not find a prayer in the Online Book Of Common Prayer over those who are moving, or to bless a new home... but I was drawn to one prayer over Towns and Rural Areas.
Please join me in prayer:
Lord Christ, when you came among us, you proclaimed the
kingdom of God in villages, towns, and lonely places: Grant
that your presence and power may be known throughout this
land. Have mercy upon all of us who live and work in rural
areas [especially Rangely, Colorado]; and grant that all the people
of our nation may give thanks to you for food and drink and
all other bodily necessities of life, respect those who labor to
produce them, and honor the land and the water from which
these good things come. All this we ask in your holy Name.
Amen.

Message For Now
My sister-in-law gave us a light-up message board sign for Christmas to hang on our wall.
I change the message on it every other month or so.
Coming into this Spring, this is our message for now:

Lee Lee's New Song
Lee Lee does not go to preschool anymore, and this is nothing new.
She (like all our children) came home from school on Friday, March 13, 2020... and she never went back. Our other children did not go back to school (in person) until August of this year... but they did go back to school. Tracey started first grade, and the twins enrolled in PreK... but Lee Lee was too young to enroll in the same school as the twins, and she has stayed home with Hunter ever since March 13, 2020.
The world shut down due to COVID, and for our little Lee Lee, that meant the end of school for a long time.
It's a little sad to think about, but, like all parents in the world right now, we are doing our best and making the best decision possible given our options and current realities. Hopefully it will not significantly impact her long-term ambition, or her short-term happiness.
All that said, Lee Lee LOVES attending her big girl Sunday School class at church, and we LOVE taking her.
She came home from church this past Sunday having learned a new song, and she pretty much hasn't stopped signing it since.

Joy To The World
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing.
Joy to the World, the Savior reigns!
Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy.
No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found,
Far as the curse is found,
Far as, far as, the curse is found.
He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders, wonders, of His love.
