Throwback Sunday

I make family calendars for my families each year so I spend a lot of time going thorugh old and new pictures to add some variety to each year's calendars.  Here is a Throwback photo brought to you from little Brookie in a Christmas card circa 1988.

The Mitten

Yesterday I was matching socks and I came upon these two...

And I immediately remembered the last page of the book "The Mitten" where the grandmother holds up the two mittens and sees the size difference.  She has no idea how many animals have squeezed into the mitten before the tiny mouse made the bear sneeze.  Any thoughts on what adventure this sock had?

Old Pictures

I create calendars for our families as a gift each year.  This year, I was looking through some old pictures to add some variety to the calendars, and I came across these gems from December 2010... nearly ten years ago.

These were Hubby and my engagement pictures taken around my childhood home in Michigan about ten days after he proposed.  We look so young and well rested.

Happy Kids

The sight of happy kids is such a gift... especially in this 2020 world of unknowns, unexpected, and disappointments, happy children are such a gift!

ONe of the kids wanted to take pictures of Hunter on the morning of his birthday and I wound up with two candid pictures that I absolutely love.

Yesterday at about 10:45am, Howard came sprinting up the stairs nearly exploding with exciting news...

"Mama, Mama!!!  Caroline and I are finally cooperating!"

I love these kids!

Relaxing with Lex

I rarely sit down and sit still during the day... and it is even more rare that I don't have a child in my arms or lap when I do...

But last Saturday, I put my feet up and watched the Michigan football game... and Lexie took advantage of my relaxing without kids in my lap.
