Twin Two-Year-Olds

Happy Happy Birthday to my Amazing Twin Two-Year-Olds!  You both have made our family such a joyful, energetic, chaotic place and we wouldn't trade it for anything.

Howard
Howard is our only boy and he moves a mile a minute.  He copies everything Tracey does and everything she says.  If she runs, Howard chases her.  If Tracey says "Good Morning, Mama," Howard says, "Moning Mama."  Howard loves Hubby and me and his sisters fiercely and has recently learned to say, "Luv you too!" and "Tank you!"
Howard loves to run and jump and has recently started jumping off of any step he comes upon.  He loves to be chased, which often means that he will take a toy that he knows his sisters are playing with so that they will chase him.  He wants to do everything for himself without help.

Caroline
Caroline is our sweet sweet girl... until she is not.  She is the sweetest little thing and loves to cuddle up on anyone's lap with a book.  She loves to help take care of her baby sister and is so proud of taking care of her own baby doll that she got for Christmas.  She loves to dance and loves to play with Howard and Tracey.  She will put up with a lot from her siblings until she won't and then she is fierce.  Her MO when she's angry is pinching and hair pulling... and it certainly works to get her point across.  She loves hugs and has been known to tackle Howard and Tracey with a hug even when they do not want one.

Twins
We have had twins for two years, and it has been such a wild ride.  These two operate as a pair all the time.  It doesn't matter that Caroline hasn't eaten any mashed potatoes, if Howard requests more mashed potatoes, Caroline insists that she needs more mashed potatoes as well.  If Caroline gets her hair put in pigtails, Howard comes to me with a comb and a hair tie and insists that his hair needs to be done too.
When we hit a new milestone for these two, it happens to both of them, not just one.  We recently moved both twins to big beds in Tracey's room.  We have two bunk beds in the room, and Tracey is on one top bunk, and the twins are one both bottom bunks and they have been having some fun at night.  We are on the verge of potty training them, but I'm just a little nervous about tackling it with both of them... I almost wish we could train one at at time.
They both were moved from high chairs to booster seats recently and both love tricycles and their new play truck that they got for their birthdays.
They are such special children.  They love to play together and they love to irritate each other.  They attend school together in different toddler rooms, but they get so excited to see each other at recess and nap time.  The teachers say they don't always play together, but they always keep track of each other.
Twins are so very special and we are so incredibly blessed to have a pair in our family.
