Addallee -- One Week

Addallee was one week old yesterday, so here are a few highlights from our first week with her.

Weight: She was 7lbs 7oz at birth, and 7lbs 2oz at her four day check up... so I image she is a little heavier than that now.

Length: She was 19 inches at birth and they measured her 20 inches at the pediatrician... so she is probably in between.

Clothing size: She is wearing newborn clothing, but I can tell she is a bigger baby than my other three because she will definitely be growing out of these faster than her older siblings.  They fit her well right now and are not too big.

Eating: She eats well throughout the day and night.  She probably eats every three hours, but I don't time it the way I did with the other newborns.  Sometimes she cluster feeds (like when I have a little more time) and then other times she goes a little longer between feedings (when her older siblings are being demanding).  Clearly she's already adapting to her role as the fourth child.

Sleeping:  She sleeps best in our bed... which is not where we want her to sleep, so we're trying to find a compromise where she sleeps well, but is not sleeping with us.
