Root, Root, Root for the CUBBIES, if they don't win it's a shame!
We were in the front row in right field for a spring training game in Surprise, AZ. The Chicago Cubs played the Kansas City Royals and we were really close to the Cub players warming up.
One of them threw Chris a ball... even though he was wearing all Cardinal's gear. Shows you that the Cubbie players really are great guys.
It was a beautiful day for a ball game!
The Cubs and the Royals tied 5-5 and they didn't go to extra innings. It was an exciting game.
My husband is from Chicago and is a HUGE Cubs fan. We went to spring training a couple of years ago for his 30th b-day. It was so much fun. I loved how we were so close to the players and the game. I am glad you got to enjoy it too.
