It makes me happy when things like this happen:
My oldest, my little kindergartner is so excited about math and addition, that before we left for school on morning, she gathered a paper, clipboard, and marker so she could write math addition facts on our drive.
At one point, she looked at me and said,
"Mama! Did you know 7 + 7 = 14?!?!?! I just learned that!"
There is nothing better than when your child is excited about things she's learning in school and excited to advance and show off her knowledge in a specific subject.
