Preggers VI: 21 Weeks

This is my first pregnancy post for Baby Number 6.  I looked back and my first post for each of my pregnancies have varied:

Baby 6: 21 weeks (22 weeks tomorrow... but I'm still posting in 21 weeks, so it counts)
Hunter: 19 weeks
Lee Lee: 21 weeks
Twins: 16 weeks
Tracey Ann: 15 weeks

21 weeks with Baby Number 6

21 weeks with Hunter

21 Weeks with Lee Lee

21 Weeks with the Twins

21 Weeks with Tracey

How far along?  21 weeks

How I am feeling?
Very well.
I was exhausted during the first trimester, but I've had my energy back for awhile now, and so I'm feeling really good.  I've had a little pain in my lower back, but it feels much better when I workout regularly (which I am trying to do), and I have a little heartburn, but it is completely managed with medication.  I really feel great.

How big is the baby?  T
The size of a carrot... 10.5 inches long, 12.7 ounces

Sleep:
I'm sleeping SO well these days.  I just said to Hubby the other day, I think I'm at the perfect size right now where I sleep on my side with my pregnancy pillow and I am SOOO comfortable!  Not too big yet.

Boy/Girl Predictions:
My sister-in-law did a ring test and predicts a girl.  My children saw this comparison picture and predicted a boy.  Tracey and Howard are predicting boy (although I think Tracey changed when she heard Aunt Mandy's prediction).  Caroline and Lee Lee predict a girl.  Hubby says it has to be a boy because we have enough girls.  I have kind of thought girl... but then I saw my ultrasound picture and I immediately thought Boy.  So... we'll find out when the baby arrives.

Baby Nicknames: Baby.

Best moment this week:  The ultrasound and seeing our last little beautiful baby and hearing that the ultrasound looks "perfect".  Praise God!

Food cravings:  Nothing in particular right now but I am loving leftover Christmas cookies -- Buckeye Balls

Movements:  Yes, and I love them although they haven't been big enough for the kiddos to feel yet.  Mostly I feel them at the end of the day when I'm in bed, or when I'm sitting still.

Labor Signs:  Not yet, thankfully.

Missing:  Honestly... I have really been missing the occasional beer or glass of wine.  Usually that is not a major thing I miss during pregnancy... but not infrequently I have thought a drink to end the day would be delightful.

General Attitude: Sr. year baby -- last pregnancy.  I'm really trying to cherish every last minute of growing a baby because I know this will be our last one.  I have LOVED being able to grown and carry our babies throughout these past 8 years, and I feel so incredibly grateful that my pregnancies have been smooth and without complications thus far.

What I am looking forward to this week:  A date night with Hubby and swimming with the kids.

Milestones: We're more than halfway through this pregnancy - wow!

Hunter Nicholas -- One Year!

Our little baby boy turned one year old a few weeks ago.

Hunter at one year

Lee Lee at one year

Caroline at one year

Howard at one year

Twins at one year

Tracey at one year

Comparison picture at one year

And just Hunter over his first year:

Weight:

He weighs 16 pounds, 9 ounces... so he didn't gain a ton of weigh these last few months.  We have to work on lots of nuts and avocados to continue healthy weight gain.  For comparison, here is how much all the kiddos weighed at 1 year of age --

Hunter: 16 pounds 9 ounces

Lee Lee: 19 pounds 3 ounces

Caroline: 21 pounds 5 ounces

Howard: 21 pounds 15 ounces

Tracey Ann:  I can't find this off-hand.  I believe she was close to 20 pounds.

Length:

A is 29" long -- which is 2'5" tall.  For comparison, here is how tall all the kiddos were at 1 year of age --

Hunter: 2'5"

Lee Lee: 2'4(1/2)"
Caroline: 2'4"

Howard: 2'6"

Tracey Ann: 2'5(3/4)"

Clothing size:

Pretty much 18 month cloths... some are pretty big, but we roll up the sleeves.

 Eating:

Here we have some good news -- right before and right after Hunter's birthday, he was re-tested for his food allergies and he now CAN eat baked eggs AND peanuts/peanut butter!!!!  So, he eats ALMOST everything the other kiddos eat.  He can have muffins, cookies, cakes, quiche... anything with eggs in it as long as the dish is baked in the oven.  He still cannot have scrambled eggs or pancakes or french toast... but  he will be tested again in the spring and the allergist if very optimistic that he will also outgrow the egg allergy as well.  By the way, he LOVES peanut butter!

Sleeping:

Hunter sleeps very well as long as he is not sick.  When he has a runny nose/stuffy nose, he does NOT sleep well at all.  Those are rough nights, and he was a little under the weather right around his birthday, but now he's healthy and sleeping better again (although he skipped his nap today, so I don't know what that is about... hope that's not going to become the norm...).  He also USUALLY naps 1-2 hours during the middle of the day... but today he had NO interest in that.  Yikes.

New things/discoveries/accomplishments:

No new teeth, but we're keeping an eye out (just the same four that he had last month)

He pushes toys, but doesn't really want to walk other than pushing toys

He has said a few words once... but then he doesn't keep saying them.  Specifically, he said, "Zroooooom" when he was playing with a car, and "Dada" when he was looking at a picture of Daddy... but its not very consistent.

He loves to point at things and say, "Ooooooooooo."

Likes:

Crawling -- and he is very fast

He loves to climb the stairs

CARS!!!  His favorite toys are toy cars that he holds in his hands and then he crawls while he rolls the car.  He LOVES cards.

He loves the toilet -- lifting the lid and sticking his hands in the toilet

Being around his siblings

Watching his siblings play

Daddy

Babbling

Baths

Trying to drink the bath water (he's not good at it, but he keeps trying)

Mama

Looking out windows -- either the window out our back door or pulling up to see out our backyard window

The Christmas tree

Christmas lights -- especially if they buttons that turn them on and off

Dislikes:

Runny noses

Sitting still for diaper changes when he could be crawling around

He's. not a big fan of the car seat

Places He's Gone:

Denver

Special Memories

First Halloween!

First time celebrating Lee Lee's birthday

First family trip to Denver

First haircut -- barely a haircut, but it was enough to satisfy me.  His hair had been coming over his ears and was driving me crazy.

Time with Grammie and Papa
