Little Brother

Lee Lee loves being a big sister, and Brady absolutely loves being a little brother.

Lee Lee stuck some jewels on her face, and decided that Brady needed them.

Then, she told me that Bray didn't like them, so could I take a picture before she took them off.

I took the first picture:

Then, Brady looked at Lee Lee, to confirm that he was doing what she wanted:

And he noticed that her head was tilted to the side as she said, "Cheese", and so he imitated her:

Big Sis and Little Bro

These two absolutely loved this game.  This was also a nice, 65* day (Monday) before we got more snow.

The Youngest

They say the youngest one is spoiled one.

Do you see what's going on in this picture?

...

I'll give you a minute to really look.

...

...

That's right.  Tracey is sick on the floor of our bedroom (with a bucket by her head -- she was our last man standing, and she caught the bug yesterday).  Hunter is laying at her feet because he thought a slumber party in Mama and Daddy's room looked run.  And sweet Brady is asleep on Mama and Daddy's bed -- a kingsize bed all to himself.

Cowboy

 These two are hilarious.

The other day Hunter told me that when he grows up he's going to be a cowboy.

"When I grow up I be a cowboy.  When I grow up, I be a cowboy, and Brady be a cow."

Well, this man's got a plan for both himself and Little Brother.

Fitted Sheets

Everyone helped me make Grammie and Papa's bed for their visit.

Gotta love the tricky fitted sheets.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUNTER!

 Happy 3rd Birthday, Hunter!

This little adventurer is three years old today, and what a smart, kind, loving, energetic little boy we have.  He loves trying to keep up with Howard, taking care of Brady, being cared for by Lee Lee, and being looked after by Tracey and Caroline.

After several years of not saying much (his older siblings did much of the talking for him), he has CERTAINLY found his voice these last six months.  He says what he means, and he means what he says.

He is incredibly determined and we love to watch his grow and learn.  This year he has begun to live up to his name as he has taken any opportunity to hunt with Daddy, and spot animals around our property.

We love you, Hunter Nicholas and we are so grateful to have you as a big little brother.

Autonomy

So... as the youngest of 6 very energetic, rambunctious children... especially as we settle in to the new house, sometimes Brady just finds things that I would prefer he not find.  And then he really enjoys his autonomy with his find.

Big Boy

If you ask our two-and-a-half-year-old Hunter, he will let you know in no uncertain terms that he is a big boy.

Just look at him ready to go on a bike ride with the big boys.

He made it about 10 yards before he asked Caroline to help him.  She pushed him the remainder of the .5 mile walk.

Much Easier

As we are preparing to move, there are many times these girls make my job so much easier.

First Birthday!

Amidst Lee Lee's last dance class and the big kids' Field Day at their elementary school, we celebrated Brady's first birthday!

In typical Brady fashion, he was happy as can be with mylar balloons to start the day (he pretty much held on to one or two ALL day), some bite-sized cupcakes, and a few new toys which his older siblings were kind enough to help him open.

He is the happiest baby in the world, and we are so incredibly fortunate that God sent him to be our littlest Mountain Miller.
