Cowboy

 These two are hilarious.

The other day Hunter told me that when he grows up he's going to be a cowboy.

"When I grow up I be a cowboy.  When I grow up, I be a cowboy, and Brady be a cow."

Well, this man's got a plan for both himself and Little Brother.

Unexpected

Last night Hunter (our three year old... he just turned three) was in our bed and he had a little soccer ball with him because he hasn't stopped holding it for hours.  He ended up taking it to bed with him.

At one point he looked at Hubby and pointed to some small print on the soccer ball and said, "It says Hunter and Daddy.  That's unexpected."

His saying that was also unexpected.

When I was in Grand Junction and Saturday with the girls we saw a man out of his car with police offices in one of the parking lots were we were driving.  The girls immediately commented that the man was getting arrested because his hands were in hand cuffs.

Tracey: When you get arrested, do the keep the hand cuffs on the bad guy for the car ride, and to get to jail, but then take them off when he gets to his cell?

Me: I don't know sweetie.  Thankfully that's not something I've had a reason to learn.

Tracey: I'll ask Daddy.

Me:  Why do you think Daddy would know?

Tracey:  He's a boy.  Most boys have been to jail.

Other Bathrooms

Hunter (my 2.5 year old) was sitting on the toilet and Brady (my 1.25 year old) was in the tub.

I was doing a little dance in the bathroom the way a mother does when she is watching a toddler in the tub and a toddler on the toilet and she has to use the restroom herself.

I look at Hunter and say, “Mama has to go potty too.”

He responds, “There are other bathrooms.”

In other words... I plan on taking my time here on this potty.

A Pinky

Lee Lee:  Mama, why is it called "a pinky"?

Mama: That's a great question, Sweetie.  I don't know how it got that name.

...

a few minutes later

...

Lee Lee:  Mama, does God know everything?

Mama:  Yes He does, Sweetie.

Lee Lee:  I will have to ask Him why it's called a pinky.
