Vail Closing Day Ski Photos!

On this beautiful Friday, I thought it would be fun to share some pictures Chris and I took last weekend in Vail.

Last Sunday, Chris and I went up to Vail for the last day of the ski season.  Every year, they have a contest where skiers and snowboarders dress in crazy contests, speed down a hill, hit a jump, fly over a pool of water (very cold water) and try to ski across 110 feet to the other side.  Most contestants fall into the water with a splash.

The last day at Vail has become a fun Spring tradition for us.  I hope your snow skiing and water skiing experiences are a little less dramatic than those pictured here.  :-D
