With their birthdays on January 1st our twins will have a unique birthday experience for their entire lives. They'll never go to school on their birthdays, and we probably will never throw a birthday party on their actual birthdays. That being said, they do get to see extended family on their birthdays that they would not normally get to see and that is very special.
This year their January 1st birthday included a breakfast out with family, visiting their great-grandparents and going on a hay ride around great-grandpa's property, and then having cupcakes at Memaw's and Peepaw's house.
