Addallee Marigold -- Nine Months

Addallee is nine months old and has been that age for almost an entire month -- she turns ten months this week.  So, let's see if I can remember he development from nearly a month ago.  Poor, sweet, fourth baby.

Here is Addallee at six months:

Here she is at three months...

and as a sweet newborn.

And here was Howard and Caroline at nine months:

And here was Tracey at nine months:

Weight:
She is probably about 17 or 17-and-a-half pounds.  She got sick right before she turned nine months, and she weighed about 16-and-a-half pounds at that doctor's appointment.  She had pretty much given up on solid foods while she was sick and just went back to nursing again, so I think her weight was down a little -- I think it came back pretty quickly once she started feeling better.

Length:
Probably taller than 25.5cm.  I haven't really a noticed a change in length this month -- still wearing the same size sleepers.

Clothing size:
She fits well in nine-month clothing but all her summer clothes are six-month hand-me-downs.  Thankfully, she fits in them -- for now at least.  Also, I've bumped her up to any 12 month clothing I think is cute enough for her to wear during this warm weather.  Those clothes are big on her for the most part -- some fit well because they have been passed down twice and washed and dried many times causing some shrinkage.

 Eating:
Addallee loves solid foods and make sure she is included in any and every meal or snack.  Again, she got sick right before she turned nine months, and she regressed to exclusive nursing, but before that illness (and immediately thereafter) she would eat five-six meals or snacks of solid foods a day.  Her siblings love to help feed her, although I discourage them from doing so.  They try to remember how small Addallee's food needs to be, but sometimes they forget, which makes me very nervous.

Sleeping:
Addallee slept well before all of our summer travels... but with the change of setting and routine in St. Louis and Michigan, she got out of her great sleep schedule and began to get up a few times a night.  The good news is, she always slept in her pack-n-play regardless of where we were.  The other kids always had trouble sleeping during our summer travels, but usually ended up in our bed.
