Addallee Marigold -- Eleven Months

 

Addallee is eleven months old... which is just nuts to think about.

Here is Addallee at nine months:

Weight: 

I'm not sure... she was 17.2 pounds last months... so probably more than that now.

Length:  

At the same appointment, she was 2'2'' -- so 26" total.  So, I'm guessing she is taller than that now.

Clothing size: 

She wears mostly 9 month clothes... but as the weather gets colder, I have her wearing more and more 12 month clothes because those are the winter girl clothes I have... and she seems to be smaller than Caroline or Tracey was at this age.

 Eating:    

She loves to eat and there isn't much she doesn't like.  She wants everything her older siblings eat -- including vitamins, hot chocolate... everything.  We are no longer breastfeeding, which disappoints me... but there was just no milk left.  So, she's drinking whole milk and she LOVES it.

 

Sleeping:  

She usually sleeps well -- from 7:00pm to 8:00am give or take.  She naps from about 12:00pm to 2:00pm and occasionally in the car.

New things/discoveries/accomplishments: 

• She can stand unsupported
• She waves at people -- especially children and her siblings all the time
• She signs "More"
• She signs "Milk"
• She pushes toys all around the house... but so far, no independent steps
• She is officially the child with the most hair at her age than any other of our children have had - compare the eleven month pictures up top

Likes: 

• Attention from her siblings
• Being around any activity
• Pushing push toys while watching
• Pacifiers
• Milk
• Solid food
• Her siblings
• Water
• Swinging
• Climbing the slide outdoors

Dislikes:

• Not much
• Maybe having the sniffles

  Places She's Gone:

• To a baby-sitters home three times a week where she's made friends with her daughters and the little boy that she watches
• To lots of school sporting events this fall
• Everywhere the big kids go...

Special Memories: 

•  Going to fall sporting events at the middle schools
• She's started giving kisses
• She's started giving high fives
• She's started liking baby-sitters more
• Tracey has started helping Lee Lee walk around the house
• The older kids really seem to love playing with Lee Lee now, and it is so special to watch.  Tracey is trying to include her in more and more games, Caroline loves taking care of her, and Howard has a really special bond with Addallee too.  There are enough older siblings, that no one ever seems to be sick of her.  They don't have to play with her all the time -- they can play with her, and then go do something else, and another sibling will take over playing with her, or she'll entertain herself.  I love watching the sibling interaction.
