We had a great fourth of July celebrating with family and the kids really did well with all the activities and the humidity of St. Louis to which our Colorado little ones are not accustomed.
We all attended a Parade in the morning where Howard waved his flag with vigor and Caroline learned that her job was picking up candy and so she did so -- for a solid hour with great determination and complete focus so much so that we had to physically keep her from wandering away from our group because she spotted un-gathered candy and she had to go get it.
Then, after napping, we took the kids to a family fun zone and fireworks.
