Brady is 4 months old, and I'll be really honest... I breathe another sigh of relief every time Brady turns another month old. That's not to say I do not LOVE these days with a baby, because I do... but they are also stressful. I sincerely rejoice every month we tick off closer to 6 months of age, because then he can start a little solid food. Exclusive nursing is STRESSFUL, and a HUGE responsibility. And, I'm back to work now, so there is the added stress of making sure that Brady has the milk he needs when I am not there AND I take the time necessary to pump during my work day. I am not wishing away these baby days by any means, but I do a little happy dance with every month Brady ages.

And here is the comparison of all five kiddos at two months of age:

Bottom left to right - Hunter, Caroline, Howard
Weight:
At his 4 month check up he weighed 13 lbs, 11 ounces! What a little HUNK!
(7 lbs, 15.8 ounces at birth).
Length:
He measured 24.5 inches long.
(20 inches at birth)
Clothing size:
He's wearing six month clothing -- not because he cannot fit in 3 month clothing, but I don't like to cram him in clothes. I think clothes are more comfortable when they're a little looser. Also, he's the third boy, so all of his clothes have been worn and washed many times by older brothers (and have probably shrunk a little over the years).
Eating:
Brady eats very well. He nurses when he's with Mama and has bottles of frozen breast milk.
Sleeping:
He's still in our room but Brady is officially sleeping in a playpen -- no longer a bassinet. I think it is the youngest I've ever moved a baby to a playpen but he slept very stretched out and he has adapted very well.
New things/discoveries:
- Laughing -- sometimes he cannot replicate it, but he will giggle and then he sort of looks surprise like, "How did I do that?" and then he can't do it again immediately. Its adorable.
- He can nearly roll over -- he's very interested in exploring things on his side when he lays on his back
New Accomplishments:
- Sitting in the excer-saucer
- Sitting in a bumpo seat -- not well, but its a start
- No longer in the bassient -- sleeping in a full size play pen. He's still in our bedroom, but he loves sprawling out in the big playpen
