I have Elk on the brain this weekend...
probably because I know my hubby and company are out hunting for them.
Elk are really cool.
They are BIG, but not gigantic like moose.
They are all muscle and yet they are SILENT.
Chris and I have been out in the woods before and we look up... and there is an elk. We didn't hear him arrive, we didn't hear him leave -- I began to wonder if we actually saw him because he was there and then he was gone.
What beautiful creatures...
