When my phone receives a voicemail, I can listen to the voicemail, or I can read the transcription of the voicemail. It is sometimes nice when I'm in a setting when I can't put the phone to my ear and listen to the message, but I can glance at my phone and see the typed gist of the message.
That said, of course the phone sometimes has errors in the transcriptions.
So, when my friend posted this on facebook last night, I laughed out loud because I could imagine this happening and portraying a very different message than the one intended.
