FAC

I'm not sure if its universal or just around here, but we have something in the mountains called FAC -- Friday Afternoon Club.

In the winter one FAC thing to do around here is a free tram ride up to Glenwood Caverns, which our family did yesterday.  We were bundled up to beat the band because we knew once our children got cold it would not be a fun outing anymore.  We spent sometime outside looking at the Christmas lights they still had hung, and then went inside to their restaurant for dinner and to listen to a local band play.  The food, in my opinion, was way too expensive, but the whole experience was a lot of fun for our kids and a great way to spend our last Friday afternoon of Christmas break before we're back to work.
