Thankful Thursday - at least trying


I am not thankful today and I don't want to "put on a happy face" and pretend that I am; so I will write scripture because I do still love the Word.
  1. "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
  2. "Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." Ephesians 4:20-21
  3. "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9
  4. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30
  5. "Therefore I am now going to allure her; I will lead her into the desert and speak tenderly to her. There I will give her back her vineyards, and will make the Valley of Achor* a door of hope. There she will sing as in the days of her youth, as in the day she came up out of Egypt..." Hosea 2:14-15
* Achor means trouble
